Multimedia Learning Center

I like MLC and often go there. Because we can watch many kinds of DVD with free and watch them with friends in private room like movie theaters. Our group will introduce about Multimedia Learning Center. First of all I talk about rules in the MLC. The MLC is in east building of 2nd floor. The MLC is a facility where we study by our self and increase our skills by using media and collect information on various subjects. The MLC opens at from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., but on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On National holidays and Sundays and New Years the center is closed. When you use the center, you must follow the rules. You may borrow one piece of software at a time. And don’t bring food or drink into the center.

Cats' Cafe

I will introduce cats’ cafe “NEKOMANMA”. This is the biggest cats’ café in Nagoya. There are about thirty kinds of rare cats. There are private room and play room and café room. In private room you can choose your favorite cat and you can keep the cat to yourself. You will have a good time with the cat. In play room and café room you can eat and drink with cats. There are many kinds of food menu and they are cheap. Most of food menu is three hundreds yen. Food name are very interesting. There are also foods for only cats, you can feed them. If you like cats, you should go there. The way to go to this café is to walk ten minutes from Gokiso Station on the Tsurumai line of the subway. A lot of cats welcome to you!

The Day of The Dead

We are starting to introduce the Day of the Dead. I will introduce history of the Day of the Dead.
The Day of the Dead is a Mexican festival. It is on November 1st and 2nd. It is just like the Bon Festival in Japan. November 1st is the day soul of children comes back. November 2nd is the day soul of adults comes back. This event is to welcome the dead kindly, treat and see them off. These days are holiday all over Mexico and held grand event. People light a candle and offer prayer. When bell rings in the middle of the night, they have a good time by drinking, eating, dancing and singing. There are a lot of skulls in the town in this season and stands around graves. In this way people in Mexico naturally accept that dead is not horrible from childhood.

Great Barrier Reef

I would like to introduce history of Great Barrier Reef.
Great Barrier Reef was registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage list in1981.
The reason why it was registered on that is the world’s biggest coral reef. The world’s biggest coral reef has been formed slowly for 1800 years. The point registration on world heritage is not just this. There are many creatures. There are 1500 kinds of fish, 4000 kinds of seashells and 240 kinds of birds. In other words the natural environment is left untouched. Great Barrier Reef is famous at a burst after registration on world heritage. Recently the scene of Finding Nemo was on Great Barrier Reef. So it is known more than before. But recently global warming is serious problem. How to protect Great Barrier Reef in future is very important.

Fujikyu Highland

Good afternoon everyone. Our group is going to talk about Fujikyu Highland. We researched the History of Fujikyu Highland and Amusements. First let me talk about the History. Fujikyu Highland is in Yamanashi Prefecture. It was opened as Fujigoko international skate center in 1961, named Fujikyu Highland later. The amusement park which has only roller coasters is Fujikyu Highland and Nagashima superland. The reason why there are a lot of roller coasters is because president of Fujikyukou likes roller coaster. Fujikyu Highland is often used as a location for dramas, movies and variety shows. For example “Taiyo no uta”, “Daihukusei” and “DOORS”. Fujikyu is famous for not only young people and adults but also children because there are a lot of roller coaster, haunted houses and amusing attractions. And you can see Mt. Fuji.

1. Limit Of Love Umizaru

(described trust, friendship and love)

Plot : Daisuke Senzaki (Hideaki itou) who was the maritime safety official was working at the front of the salvage. One day large-scale ferry accident occurred. His girlfriend was taking the ship. The ship is flooded, and inclines at a terrific speed. The ship sank four hours later. He confronted the rescue to the very last possible moment. However, there was a limit ahead of the unprecedented breaking point. His voice and voice of his girlfriend and companion who calls his name is erased by the explosive sound ….

Recommendation : This movie is a sequel of the drama. First of all, I recommend to see it after seeing the drama. This movie is a story of a man who staked his life on his work. The movie gives us vigor and courage and teaches us the importance of life and belief person. I was impressed with that and I watch it when I want to cry.

2.Hanayoridango

Setting : Comedy (academic and love story)

Plot : Super-poor Tsukusi Makino (Mao Inoue) entered the school in which only super-rich people gathered. She meets four son and heir who take the lead in the school. They are called F4. She is engaged to the leader of F4 , Tsukasa Domyouji (Jun Matsumoto).
One day, the tiara presented as proof of the engagement is stolen. Is the purpose a tiara of 10 billion yen or marriage of them? And who is the criminal? They run about Las Vegas , Hong Kong , desert island and all over the world to regain the tiara. Can they really regain it? Can they obtain the ageless love?

Recommendation : This movie is a live-action version of girls' comics and the performer is suitable for cartoon figure, too. So, I feel I enter the world of the cartoon. Because the movie is a story of the world of the cartoon, it is very interesting that unreality things is described in the movie. Not only laughter but also the love story is drawn , so I recommend it to person who wants to laugh and cry.

3.Mahounikakerarete


Made : in 2007
Setting : Heart-warming story of dream and magic

Plot : The day when tender-hearted Giselle who lives in the magical land marries to Prince Edward, she is cheated and banished to an opposite town to fairlyland- Modern New York -by the witch. Can she really solve witch's curse and return there ?
